1. When will you roll out service?

QRO Wireless of Idaho is coming within a few months.

2. Will the service be Symmetrical or Asymmetrical?

The service will be symmetrical, downstream and upstream speeds are the same.

3.  We live in a heavily wooded subdivision. Will your signal be able to penetrate the trees?

Every situation is unique, and each site will be tested free of charge to ensure there is adequate signal strength before installation.

 4. How does your service compare to my current dial-up service?

First of all, no phone line is needed. The system will be entirely wireless - WiFi 802.11b is what it's called. For the monthly fee charged, you will receive your internet connection, your email (3 addresses included), and 10MB of space to create your own homepage.

There will not be a need to have a separate ISP or to keep the one you currently have.

If you currently have a second phone line and an ISP, you're in "the zone" where what you're paying now (per month) is approximately what high-speed, always-on QRO Wireless of Idaho Internet access will cost.

Click Services to see our package pricing, what's included, and options.

5. What are the speeds of QRO Wireless of Idaho vs. dialup/DSL, cable modem, satellite, etc.

Even our, least-expensive option of symmetrical 128Kbps (The Explorer Package) will be approximately 6 times faster than dialup (compared to a 28.8Kbps dialup connection, which all the DSL and Cable Modem providers compare against).

6. Will the network you are setting up support VPN connections?

VPN connections are supported.

7. The monthly prices are the right price point for me. What will the start-up costs be?

Please click Services to view a description of services and pricing.

8. Would you provide static IP addresses?

QRO Wireless of Idaho will be utilizing DHCP. Static IP addresses will be an extra option.  A static IP address will cost an additional $15 a month.

9. Are you hiring?

Not yet, but keep an eye on our website for updates.
